Now for the fun stuff!
What’s your favorite genre?
Such a hard question. I read a lot of genres. I probably like YA fantasy more than Sci-Fi.
Do you read what you write?
Yes, but I read a lot more of other stuff.
What’s your favorite part about writing?
Revision. I love making a manuscript shine.
What’s the hardest part of writing for you?
Drafting. I mean the first chapter is fun but after that it is haaaard work.
What’s an activity unrelated to writing that you love?
Baking.
Who’s your biggest cheerleader?
My friend.
I’m so jealous of writers who love revisions. I’m working on TWO books right now and it’s torture.
Now I’d like to play a fun little game called This or That. As a writer, I find that a lot of interviews ask the same questions, so I always appreciate sharing something new about myself. I’m super excited about these questions—and I hope you enjoy them!
Introvert or extrovert? Introvert
Morning or night person? Morning
Coffee or tea? Tea
Sweet or salty? Sweet
Eternal summer or four seasons? Four seasons
Mountains or beach? I used to be a mountain person. But after living in San Diego for 17 years it’s become beach.
Dogs or cats? Cats
Over 5’5” or under? Over
Left or right-handed? Left
Hoodie or yoga pants? Hoodie
Left-handed hoodie wearers unite!
Ruth, thank you much for spending this time with me and my readers. I’ve enjoyed this so much! Readers, you can find Ruth at these links—and be sure to check out Deleted!
